• Returns, Refunds & Australian Consumer Law

    Your purchase of goods from Chippendale Restorations is subject to certain laws, including (without limitation) the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

    Under the ACL, you are entitled to certain guarantees that cannot be excluded, including that goods must be:

    • Of acceptable quality
    • Reasonably fit for any purpose we represent they are fit for
    • As described

    Nothing in this policy limits or excludes your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

  • In-Store Purchases

    Chippendale Restorations is not required to provide a refund or exchange if you change your mind.

    Returns or refunds may be considered at our discretion, provided that:

    • The item is unused and in the same condition as when purchased
    • You can provide a valid, intact receipt or other proof of purchase

    We reserve the right to refuse a return or refund where proof of purchase is not provided.

  • Online Purchases

    We offer a 30-day return period for online purchases, starting from the date you receive your item.

    To be eligible for a return:

    • The item must be unused, unworn, and in the same condition as received
    • All original packaging, tags, and accessories must be included
    • You must provide a receipt or proof of purchase
  • How to Start a Return

    within 30 days of receiving your order.

    If your return request is approved, we will provide:

    • A return shipping label
    • Instructions on how and where to send your item

    Returns sent without prior approval will not be accepted.

  • Damaged, Faulty or Incorrect Items

    Please inspect your order as soon as it arrives.

    If your item is faulty, damaged, or incorrect, contact us immediately at mail@chippendalerestorations.com.au so we can assess the issue and arrange an appropriate remedy in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law.

  • Refunds

    Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the outcome.

    If approved:

    • Refunds will be issued to your original payment method
    • Refunds are typically processed within 10 business days
    • Please allow additional time for your bank or card provider to finalise processing
